The beds were super comfy and the room was quiet.
Unfortunately, my experience at the Richmond Guest House was less than satisfactory. Despite the cozy decor, I found the breakfast options to be extremely limited, as there were only a few cereals and toast provided. Additionally, the lack of clear communication from staff about using the shared facilities was frustrating, and I felt there should have been more attention given to cleanliness in common areas.

We enjoyed our stay here with our three small kids! The cozy vibe and great location made it easy to explore the city. The owner, John, was really friendly and provided helpful sightseeing tips. He made sure our room was comfy when we arrived.
My children wished for more kid-friendly breakfast options.

I had an awesome time enjoying breakfast with fresh orange juice and delicious toast each morning. The cozy lounge area and beautiful garden made for perfect spots to unwind after a busy day. The only downside was the somewhat slow internet, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. 😊

The Richmond Guest House offered a great experience during my stay for work purposes. The location was ideally situated within walking distance of popular streets and the waterfront, making it convenient for both leisure and business activities. The host, John, was extremely helpful, providing breakfast and valuable sightseeing advice. The room was recently renovated and maintained well, with a comfortable bed and all necessary amenities, including reserved parking right outside.
The décor is a bit dated and the noise level was noticeable.

The room had a comfy bed and was clean, with plenty of storage. The vintage vibe was nice, but there was a bit of an odd smell in the lounge area. The shared kitchen was outdated, but breakfast options were solid, with lots of cereal choices and the owner, John, was pretty helpful. No A/C, so it got a little warm at night, but nothing unbearable. Overall, decent stay for the price.
